Lottie is a Public International Law graduate with experience working with non-profit organisations. She is a proponent for the championing of national and local grassroots campaigns in addressing international human rights issues.

Harshani specialises in program management, gender and social inclusion, safeguarding, and multi-donor initiatives across humanitarian and development contexts in South Asia and the Asia-Pacific.

With over 15 years of experience in International Relations, Communications & Marketing, Gavinda is a former diplomat for Sri Lanka. He leads the global communications strategy at iProbono.

Raju is a constitutional and human rights lawyer based in Nepal. He worked with Amnesty International as a researcher, specialising in transitional justice and ESCR. He has also advised OHCHR-Nepal on the rule of law and transitional justice. He is the founding chairperson of the Justice and Rights Institute.

Gabriela is a UK and Australian-qualified lawyer with expertise in corporate finance and human rights. She has worked in Sydney, London, Damascus, Jerusalem, and Tokyo. She is currently the CEO of the Australian Pro Bono Centre.

Mariam leads iProbono’s programs and governance globally. A human rights lawyer with a focus on South Asia and the UK, she is also Trustee at the Royal Drawing School in London, and Reunite, the International Centre for Child Abduction.

Himani is a Visual Artist and an urban researcher. Previously, she worked as a Management Consultant for cities and infrastructure. In 2017, after more than 10 years of creating art, and gaining varied education and professional experiences, she decided to focus on her art practice full time.

Her practice explores cities, spaces, politics, material and travel, and is also aimed at contributing towards community and education. Alongside developing her studio practice, Himani is focusing on building inclusive spaces and communities through art, and her urban research work.

Kitty is an iProbono Development Board Member supporting them with their major donor strategy. Kitty was previously Head of Business Development for Prism the Gift Fund, one of the top UK charities by income. She is currently Head of Business Development for Regent Capital Ventures, an early-stage sector agnostic investor. She has a Master’s in Business Psychology.

Shireen has worked in law and development across the UK, India and the US. She has been recognised by HM The Queen, the UK Prime Minister and the Asian Women of Achievement, with the Financial Times naming her ‘Legal Innovator of the Year’ in 2015.

Roger runs his own legal consultancy, having previously been General Counsel for CBS Viacom International, Simon Cowell’s production company Syco and PRS for Music.

Ajenth is passionate about using visual storytelling, design, and creative communication to advance access to justice and social impact. Through thoughtful, human-centered design, he translates complex issues into compelling narratives that amplify voices, inspire action, and support meaningful change across communities.

Antje is a barrister at Garden Court North Chambers, admitted to the bar in England, Wales, and Berlin. She advocates for child rights, focusing on vulnerable children and social justice in South Asia. Previously, she served as a Senior Legal Adviser for the United Nations.

Dr Mara Malagodi is a Reader in Law at Warwick Law School, University of Warwick, UK. She is a comparative constitutional lawyer and socio-legal scholar with a linguistically informed specialism in South Asian law and politics, human rights law, gender and law, legal history, and law and film. She holds her Doctorate, MA in South Asia Area Studies, and BA (Hons) in Nepali & Politics from the University of London (SOAS) and was a British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Dr. Malagodi is a scholar of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple, a non-practising barrister in England & Wales, and an award-winning documentary filmmaker. Dr Malagodi is an Executive Committee Member of the UK Constitutional Law Association. She has worked as an expert and external consultant for various United Nations agencies and has been teaching at the Diplomatic Academy of the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office.

Allan is the Executive Director of KELIN and advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He brings over 15 years of experience in law, ethics, governance, policy, health, and rights.

Shevindri is an Attorney-at-Law with experience in criminal litigation who holds a master’s in Justice and Criminology. Her areas of interest include gender-based violence and fundamental rights.

Nicola is a lawyer with 30 years of experience in regulatory compliance, governance, and legal advice within the financial services industry. She most recently served as General Counsel for Evelyn Partners Group and volunteers for European Lawyers in Lesvos, a refugee charity.

Binita has over 13 years experience of working in the legal and charity sector. She oversees operations and relations with key stakeholders.

Nowshin is a legal scholar and policy analyst focused on human rights, governance, and democratic transitions in Bangladesh. She holds an LL.B and LL.M from the University of Dhaka and an MSc in Public Policy from UCL as a Chevening Scholar. 

Roshani is a lawyer who has extensive experience in human rights and access to justice projects. She focuses on enhancing our impact and facilitating program development and execution.

Nick is a partner with Fieldfisher specialising in Intellectual Property Litigation with expertise in handling large, complex and often ground breaking cases. He is a founding member and Chair of iProbono’s Development Board since January 2024.

Supriya provides strategic direction to iProbono’s knowledge, impact, and learning initiatives. Prior to this, she worked at the India-UK Development Partnership Forum, Crisis Action, and Oxfam India. Supriya holds an MPhil in Geographical Research with distinction from the University of Cambridge.

Shivani holds a postgraduate degree in English literature and provides wrap-around support to the South Asia team in administration and research. She is interested in gender and resistance studies.

Baroness Elizabeth has helped shape the United Kingdom’s legal and social justice landscape over her career of 60 years. She was the first woman President of the Family Division of the High Court of Justice in 1991.

Sultana is an advocate with 7+ years of experience in the development sector in Bangladesh. As a Legal Officer at iProbono, she provides litigation and pre-litigation support, helping strengthen programmes and advance access to justice for marginalised communities.

Nilopar is Head of Investment Law at the National Employment Savings Trust Corporation. She has volunteered at BRAC in Dhaka and New York, which influenced her interest in social justice. She is a published author working on her second novel.

Aswini is a King’s Counsel at Doughty Street Chambers in London. Her focus over thirty years has been on the rights and interests of those rendered vulnerable in society, children, people with mental disabilities, victims of abuse, including domestic abuse, and exploitation. This has been foundational in developing her practice in all areas of civil litigation, inquiries, inquests, regulatory work, international law and mediation. She currently chairs chambers’ management board, and is a former chair of the Human Rights Lawyers Association and a former vice chair of the Bar Human Rights Committee.

Aritha is a leading advocate who has spearheaded several global initiatives promoting equality and human rights throughout his career. He ranked #1 in the Financial Times Outstanding list of Top 30 LGBT Future Leaders in 2015.
