Shireen Irani, Executive Director, iProbono invited to speak at the American Bar Association (ABA)fall meeting in November 2011, Dublin, Ireland.

Shireen was invited to join the panel which discussed 'Minimizing Risk and Maximizing Opportunity in Global Pro Bono Service' at the ABA's fall meeting in Dublin, Ireland. The program explored international best practices relating to the vetting and screening of global and cross-border pro bono projects, which sometimes present special challenges involving the prospective clients and matters that are not necessarily based in the jurisdictions in which volunteer lawyers are located. Panellists discussed practices and offered insights into considerations about the reputability of organizations, their financial viability, quality assurance, general compliance and similar factors.
